Prop O Passes With 65.61% Voter Approval

Unofficial election results show that 24,052 voters weighed in on Prop O yesterday, Aug. 4, 2026. The measure required 4/7 (57.14%) voter approval and passed with 65.61% "Yes" votes.

District officials would like to thank those who helped share information about Prop O so our stakeholders could make an informed decision throughout the election process. They also noted appreciation for everyone who took the time to participate by casting their vote.

Prop O is a zero-tax-rate-increase that authorizes the District to borrow up to $185 million in funds by issuing bonds for funding:

• Enhanced safety and security measures in all schools;
• Full-building renovation at Holt High;
• Full-building renovation and storm shelter addition at Wentzville Middle; and
• Complete rebuild of Heritage Elementary, including a storm shelter.

District officials say they look forward to beginning these facility projects and making meaningful progress for our District.
